Eligibility Guidelines

Current Position

The Trust is unable to accept unsolicited applications. Due to the increase in postage costs The Band Trust will not acknowledge unsolicited applications.
Grant-making aims
The general aims of Trustees are to seek to cover a wide spectrum of activities so as to benefit as many charitable causes as possible and to make donations to organisations where such contribution really can be seen to make a difference.
The resources of the Trust are limited and it acknowledges there exist many more good causes that it could fund but this funding is simply not possible. All the available funds are allocated pro-actively by the Trustees. They are keen that applicants do not waste any charity money or The Band Trust's equally limited resources by submitting applications that have no chance of success.
Please DO NOT apply to The Band Trust
Funds available and size of grants
The Trust anticipates the annual investment income available for grant making for the next few years will be around £500,000. However the Trust has given and intends to continue to give annual support to a number of charities for most of these funds and through its contacts pro-actively seek projects in which it is interested. Unsolicited applications will not be considered.
Who receives our donations ?
The Trust only gives to UK registered charities and other official charitable organisations which benefit society locally and nationally.
